The Orchestrator

The earlier chapters described what an orchestrator designs: instructions, permissions, memory, handoffs, evaluation. All of it runs on an infrastructure layer that is changing under everyone’s feet. Orchestrated systems change themselves, agents interact with each other on tasks, and fleets of them run in parallel — and the tools built for human-paced, human-legible work are being asked to manage workloads they were never designed for. The customers of source control and task tracking are no longer only human beings.
